IRIDESCENT GLASS MINIATURE LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, red and blue iridescent, comprising a Rib and Leaf patented example, egg-form font with acanthus leaves and diagonal ribbed panels, circular foot embossed with heavy swirls, matching pattern elliptical-form shade; and a finger example with embossed swan and cattail pattern, colorless applied handle, matching patterned umbrella form shade with scalloped rim; brass collars. Fitted with period burners, colorless chimneys. 20th century. 8 3/4" and 6 3/4" H to top of shades.
Rib and Leaf font undamaged, swan patented font with a light vertical approximate 2" crack to body, shade rims with several minor flakes/roughness, some as made. Burners and chimneys undamaged.
Literature: Smith - Miniature Lamps I, p. 180 fig. 423.
Provenance: From the Rosemary Bennett estate, North Port, FL.

Condition

Rib and Leaf font undamaged, swan patented font with a light vertical approximate 2" crack to body, shade rims with several minor flakes/roughness, some as made. Burners and chimneys undamaged.
