Boldly Signed John Adams Document with 60+ Words in Adams Hand
DS, 1p, with writing on front & back, no date, and written in the hand and boldly signed by our nation's 2nd President, John Adams as "John Adams." 8.25" x 2". Some repair that is barely noticeable and expertly accomplished, slight foxing, not affecting the quality of the boldly signed document, else fine.
The front of the DS reads:
"In testimony whereof, We the said Samuel Niles, John Adams and Jonathan Bass, in our said capacity, that is by virtue of our authority aforesaid and in the name..."
The back of the DS reads:
"...said North commons, (?) the Lott number three in said second division containing twelve acres more or less and branded northerly on the lott number two, westerly on the lott number three in the first..."
