A Continental gilt metal mounted ebonized bracket clock
mid 18th century
The arched dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes and mock pendulum aperture within repousse gilt spandrels, the twin train movement with verge escapement striking on a bell.

Condition
Case in overall good restored condition. Scattered losses to ebonized finish. Dial with heavy loss of silver to chapter ring. Pin missing holding hands. Backplate with scattered filled in holes. Hammer repaired. Bell probably replaced. Movement currently maintaining power and striking correctly. Working condition not guaranteed.
