second half 19th century, an imposing English Parian unglazed porcelain standing Perseus in full armor, perhaps about to rescue Andromeda from the sea monster, strongly attributed to Minton and modeled by Victor Simyan who was a French sculptor who settled in England in circa 1860. Not signed.
17 x 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.
Victor Simyan was a French sculptor who worked in England after 1860 and created several artistic endeavors for Minton.
