Description
A German iron strongbox with early time locking mechanism, mid-19th centuryKassette aus schwerem Eisenblech mit vernieteten Kantenverstärkungen. Vorderseitig aufgelegtes Schlüsselschild aus Messing. Die gefederte Abdeckung des Schlüssellochs mit einem aufziehbaren Zeitmechanismus gesichert. Funktion nicht überprüft, wohl restaurierungsbedürftig. Im Inneren großes Schloss mit vier Zuhaltungen, Schlüssel vorhanden. Seitlich zwei bewegliche Tragegriffe. Im Inneren Reste des Herstelleretiketts "C. Schlachter in Mannheim". Auf der Schlüsselblende wiederholt gravierte Signatur. Maße 27 x 46 x 34 cm.Condition: II
