This Arkansas 59 stereo record player console with bar cabinet manufacture by Blaupunkt, a German manufacture founed in 1924, producing mostly car-audio gear and other electronic equipment. By the 1960 and 1970s, Blaupunkt had become one of the leading German manufacturers of car radios and car audio equipment. This mid-century modern HiFi tube stereo features AM/FM and shortwave radio along with a turn table for records, it's 46.1/8 in. (117.1 cm.) long, 35.3/8 in. (89.9 cm.) high, and 15.1/2 in. (39.4 cm.) wide. The provenance of this item is from a Long Island collector.
