Description

A scale model of the schooner yacht Atlantic, second half 20th century, three masted gaff-rigged boat with cloth sails, raised on stand, overall 56"h x 72"l x 9"d. Note: The schooner yacht Atlantic, designed by William Gardner in 1903, was a three-masted sailing vessel. It was the largest private yacht of its day, winner of the 1905 Kaiser's Cup race, and set a transatlantic sailing record that stood for nearly 100 years.
