A gilt bronze figure of Tara, Tibet, 16th-17th century or later , seated in lalitasana on a raised double lotus pedestal, raising her left hand in vitarkamudra , delicately pinching the stem of the nilotpala flower which blooms at either shoulder, her right hand in varadamudra symbolising the dispensing of boons to those who call upon her name with the mantra, wearing elaborate jewellery inlaid with a solid piece of turquoise, and a long dhoti falling to her feet, with a five-leaf crown inlaid with a purple stone, framing her piled chignon, 13.3cm high Provenance: Private UK Collection. è¥¿è— åå…/å七世纪 é“œéŽé‡‘度æ¯
