Vignette engraved in copper on the title page. 20 plates engraved on copper out text, each of them at the beginning of every chapter, depicting a episode of the “Gerusalemme Liberata”. Unfortunatly is missing the frontispiece engraved by Giacomo Del Po'. Head pieces and end pieces. At the beginning of every chapter, within a sophisticated frame, is explained the chapter’s subject. Text on 2 columns in Italian and Neapolitan dialect. Some pages with slight brownings, but good copy

First edition in folio of this opera in Neapolitan dialect of La Gerusalemme Liberata, accompanied by notes to better understand theslang, grammatical structures and the common saying of the Neapolitan dialect. The work was to enrich the repertoire of dialect translations of the work, such as that in the Negri’s Bolognese dialect version, of Assonica work in dialect of Bergamo and in Venetian by Perazzo. However, Fasano places the Italian text in contrast to the dialect, in order to emphasize the direct relationship with the model. Fasano had also submitted the work to the judgment of sophisticated Tuscan writers such as Megalotti and Redi.
