**First Time At Auction**
Native American, Pacific Northwest, Hoonah, Alaska, ca. pre 1980s CE, made by Bill J. Wilson (active pre-1980). A pretty sterling silver cuff-like bracelet signed by its creator. The bracelet is in the form of a frog, its body elongated to form a thin band, with the terminals flaring out in the shape of the animal's back and head, the latter complete with adorable front legs and feet that seem to clasp the wrist as you wear the piece. The body is decorated with lightly incised and repousse geometric motifs that echo the distinctive native Pacific Northwest style. Signature is on the interior of one of the terminals and reads "Bill J. Wilson" with a stamp indicating that the piece is sterling. Wearable! Size: 3" W (7.6 cm); 23.2 grams
