A 1908 patinated bronze plaque by P. Vannier of Albanian hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg (1405-1466), remembered for his struggle against the Ottoman Empire. 6" diameter bronze is mounted to a burl wood plinth inlaid with marquetry wreaths at the corners, and framed with brass at the edges.
