This print was reproduced in Exhibitions in Review, 1987-1988 (Kingston, ON: Queen's University, Agnes Etherington Art Centre, 1988), pl. 45, p. 69. As part of their review of the October 1987 - January 1988 exhibition, Prints of the People: Prints from the John and Mary Robertson Collection of Inuit Art. The review explains that the image is an ambiguous one and that "Qiviok is often depicted riding a large fish, which he may be doing here." (op. cit., p. 86).
