Description

Title: 1880's Ohio Star Quilt

Provenance/Additional Info: Cotton 1870's/1880's Ohio star quilt, all hand pieced and hand quilted. It measures 74" X 86" and is in very good, never washed condition with some spotting (see pics) that looks like it would come out in the quilt's first wash, and no wear. There are straight line designs quilted throughout at 6-7 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places. The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are white (old feedbag material used -- see pic), and the batting is thin.
