19th century
The arched painted dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes with subsidiary seconds dial, inscribed across center R WHITING WINCHESTER, the wooden twin train movement striking on a bell.
height 85in (216cm); width 19in (48cm); depth 10in (25.5cm)

Condition

The arched dial with areas of smudging and discoloration. Case with general marks, nicks, scratches, cracks and wear. Cracks across fret carving to hood. More notable gouges to sides. With pendulum and weights. Working condition unknown and not guaranteed.
