Description: ACCEPTATION OF M.ENEA VICO PARMIGIANO Under the ancient manuscripts, which are divided into two books, it is shown that ancient writers made mistakes and that these errors extend to Roman history. Two books, one containing chapters and the other containing the most notable things (Treatise on the Ancient Medals, divided into two volumes) by Enea Vico Venice, Gabriel Giolito de Ferrari, 1563 112 pages, including the table, in a 6 by 8" size.Full-page headers, drop caps, a full-page photo of Cosimo de Medici, a typographical mark on the title page and printer's device at the colophon. Very fine interior, slight wear to the vellum binding, and a title in morocco on the spine. not connected. Written in ItalianItaly's Enea Vico (1523–1567) was an engraver. Vico's birthplace is Parma. His specialty was creating weird engravings inspired by old paintings. Vico engraved pieces for Alfonso II, the Duke of Ferrara, and later for Cosimo I de Medici, the Grand Duke of Tuscany. 1567 saw his death at Ferrara.
