Segregation Restroom Doors from Richmond, Virginia

Four wood doors, one labeled Men Colored, one labeled Ladies White, and two labeled Men White, each 31.75 x 80.5 in. These doors came out of a dumpster on a prominent Richmond, VA street. An old department store was being renovated and these doors were discarded. While nothing else is known of their origins, they are all the more chilling when one considers their ubiquity in our history.
