A 1950s Herbert Todt archtop guitar in natural finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist.
A fine example of Herbert Todt’s masterful inlay work and craftsmanship. Natural finish, appears oversprayed or refinished. Headstock shows off Todt’s signature three-pronged inlay on the wood headstock face, six replaced tuners with plastic pearl buttons, white string guide with zero fret. 21-fret bound rosewood fretboard with bass-side triangle inlays. Immaculately-inlaid, carved spruce top with dark purfling replete with mother of pearl ornamentation. Flame maple back and sides, adjustable rosewood bridge, harp tailpiece.
Includes soft-shell case.
