Description
A 2018 Gibson Les Paul R7 1957 Reissue, serial #7 8110, goldtop finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist.
This R7 Goldtop reissue came directly from Gibson as the company cleaned house during the departure of the former CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz. Since that time, the guitar has been played only sparingly due to a too-large neck. The guitar still has its original hang tags!
A 24.75” scale length mahogany neck with a bound 22-fret rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays. A natural mahogany body with a bound maple top finished in gold. Two humbuckers, volume and tone controls for each, and a three-way pickup selector switch. Cream plastics, nickel hardware. ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece. Pots date to 2017. Includes brown Gibson case.
