A Gretsch-made Bigsby BY50 chambered electric guitar in amber finish, serial #03150-45, owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. From Bachman's personal collection.

This BY50 was part of a limited series of instruments produced by Gretsch from 2002-2007 featuring designs heavily influenced by renowned guitar maker and inventor Paul Bigsby. The BY50 is based on Bigsby’s Electric Standard shape.

The guitar features a Birdseye Maple top and body with an amber finish, black binding, a set maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard and mother of pearl playing card style inlays. Rosewood arm rest and pickguard with a florentine cutaway on the treble side of the body.

Two reproduction Bigsby-style pickups, a three-way blade pickup selector switch with controls for volume and tone, Rosewood knobs, a fixed Rosewood tailpiece, a Tune-O-Matic style bridge with a Rosewood base plate, and six-in-line Bigsby headstock.

Includes Bigsby-branded hardshell case.
