Description
A 1950s Todt archtop guitar, no serial number, in natural finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. Part of Randy’s impressive collection of German-made archtop guitars from the mid-20th century, collected over 30-plus years.
Randy identifies this as a Herbert Todt guitar, though he suggests it may have been made by a student of his. Features a maple neck with an 18-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with small triangular inlays on the bass side of the board. Understated multi-piece headstock. Carved spruce top, multi-ply binding, large catseye sound holes, flame maple back and sides. Adjustable rosewood bridge with harp-style tailpiece.
Includes black hardshell case with grey interior.
