Two large steel-blue ertmen guls lie in the red-brown field, while six ertmen guls in white and light red that differ in interior design are offset against them and truncated by the border. The main border contains small eight-pointed stars within rectangular compartments of varying ground colours. The wide red-brown outer band is embellished with ashik guls.
Signs of age and wear, low pile. Original sides and upper finish, slight damage to the lower finish. Missing back. Provenance: Ehrengard Freifrau von Trotha Collection. Formerly in the collection of Peter-Christian Graf von Kleist-Retzow
